VOLUNTEERS NEEDED TO HELP KEEP ART IN OUR FUTURE
“Get Acquainted Teas” at the Blue Line Gallery

ROSEVILLE, Calif., March 1, 2010 – Roseville Arts Blue Line Gallery invites potential volunteers to visit one of its “Get Acquainted Teas” on March 10 to find out how they can help keep art in the present—and future—of our community.

Volunteers like Bob and Sandy Boschert know firsthand what their contribution means to this programs of this popular community art hub. Bob is at the gallery every Friday helping streamline front desk and gift shop operations, and Sandy works with him to make sure guests are treated to a fine spread of food and refreshment at the Blue Line’s popular 3rd Saturday art openings.  Sandy’s homemade cookies are a popular treat for all ages.

“I don’t know what we would do without dedicated people like Bob and Sandy,” said Sue Kirstein, volunteer coordinator for the Blue Line Gallery. The Boscherts are two among many whose labor of love ensures that the new and ongoing activities of this popular community arts hub stay alive—including the highly acclaimed and varied exhibitions and the energized 3rd Saturday Art openings; school tours and Saturday hands-on activities that leave lasting impressions on local school children; and great value events like this year’s 10th annual Art in the Garden tour.

The “Get Acquainted Teas” are scheduled for Wednesday, March 10—1:30-2:30 p.m. and 7:00-8:00 p.m.  Interested participants please RSVP to Sue Kirstein at (916) 783-4117 or volunteers@rosevillearts.org.
