Children’s Juried Show


CALL TO ARTISTS, AGES 5-13
“What Scares Me Most” Theme for Children’s Juried Show  


ROSEVILLE, Calif., June 23, 2010Young artists, ages 5-13, are invited once again to enter their original artwork in Roseville Arts’ Annual Children’s Open Show opening at the Blue Line Gallery on August 21, 2010

Whether humorous, thoughtfully deep or genuinely frightening, the theme “What Scares Me Most” is open to each child’s individual interpretation. Instructions to enter 2 and 3-dimensional work are outlined in the exhibit prospectus available at the Blue Line Gallery and on its website.  Artwork will be accepted, with a $5 entry fee, at the Gallery on August 13. 

Artist Linda Green will serve as awards juror this year, selecting artwork to receive awards in various age categories. The awards will be presented during the opening reception, August 21, 6:30-9pm.  The exhibit will continue through September 18 in the gallery’s Eli & Edythe Broad Children’s Gallery.   This exhibition is generously supported by the Union Pacific Foundation and Kaiser Permanente Roseville.
