Dia de los Muertos
Featured Exhibit at the Blue Line Gallery

ROSEVILLE, Calif., September 30, 2009— “Dia de los Muertos” will open at the Blue Line Gallery’s WestPark Gallery during 3rd Saturday Art Walk on October 17.

The exhibit showcases artists’ responses to the popular Latin holiday—from playful to mournful, creepy to memorialized —in a variety of media, including painting, photography, ceramics and stained glass. Artists Jo Ann Blum, Marie Dixon, Suzanne Goodwin, Juice Lee, Miriam Morris and Cassandra Reeves were juried into this member exhibit by a panel of their peers.

A public reception with live music, refreshments and demonstrations by the featured artists will celebrate the exhibit’s opening on October 17, 6:30-9pm, at the Blue Line Gallery. All artwork is available for purchase, with a portion of funds supporting the programs and services of the non-profit Roseville Arts.
